Does the Campsite have onsite parking?
Yes, we have plenty of parking for all our guests. To keep the site safe the carpark is a short walk away from your accommodation and we ask that all guests park in the carpark and not beside their accommodation.
Do you allow dogs?
We welcome well behaved dogs in the tents but we ask that they do not go on the furniture. There is an additional surcharge of £15 so we can spend the extra cleaning time making sure the tents are pristine for the next guests
We don't allow dogs in either the Shepherds Hut or Railway Carriage.
We asks that dogs are kept on a lead on the site due to the proximity to livestock and working farms. There are lots of lovely walks nearby so we'd be happy to advise. Please make sure you clean up after your dogs.
What time can I check in?
Guests are welcome to check in from 3pm. In order that the accommodation can be thoroughly cleaned and prepared for the next arrival, departure time is 10am. We ask that if your check in time is going to be later than 8pm you let us in advance.
What time is checkout?
We ask that guests checkout for 10am to give us time to clean for the next customers. We ask that you strip your beds and take all rubbish to the bins situated beside the shed.
Do you have cooking facilities?
All the tents have their own BBQ and fire pit. If the weather makes al fresco dining uninviting there are two gas camping stoves and a gas BBQ in the communal shed which guests are welcome to use.
Do you provide bedding and towels?
Yes, our huts and tents are all kitted out with soft cotton sheets and fluffy towels.
Do you have WiFi?
No, but we are lucky to have great 4G coverage in the area.
Is there power in the accommodation?
All our units are off grid. The tents have no power but guests are welcome to use the sockets in the shed for phone charging. The Railway Carriage and Shepherds Hut are both run off solar power. This runs the fridge, lights and hob. The only socket available is a USB for phone charging.
